First post on the new emtypyie.in, so here's the actual story of how this happened.
Wiki first
wiki.emtypyie.in went up first. I needed somewhere to log dev notes, architecture decisions, and the occasional regret, and it was the easiest piece to ship.
Once that was running, it became pretty obvious that the main site the actual emtypyie.in was still half-built and just sitting there, while the wiki quietly turned into the most finished part of the whole setup.
Building it properly
So instead of patching it, I decided to do it properly: a real landing page, a blog (this one), and a portfolio, all living under emtypyie.in. Some pieces wiki, dosa already point to their own subdomains. The landing page and portfolio might eventually redirect to wherever the 'real' working versions end up, once those are ready.
Nothing here is final. Most of it will probably get rebuilt at some point. That's kind of the whole vibe of this site.
